It was quite amazing waking up and being too tired to do anything.. So I didn't even do Kayaking or snorkeling (both of which are included in a three day package I got). So I spent most of the day at the beach (which is like 50 meters from the dorm room). The Israeli girls showed up later in the day, and we hung out with them in the evening.
There was a power outage in the kitchen for a few hours. The reason I'm mentioning it is because it will serve to illuminate how "bright" the employees at this backpacker are. They called an electrician, who tool 5 or 6 hours to arrive from the mainland. I told them to simply use an extension cord and connect the fridges to an powered outlet. They refused to do so because of some reason I didn't understand. Eventually, the electrician showed up and it turned out that someone turned off the switch...
The hostel has a bar/party area, which was rather quiet. However, it was amusing meeting some folks from an American Aircraft carrier that had just arrived the previous day. One of them didn't want to talk to us because we're Israeli and we "don't help them". I'm still not sure what he meant by that. Another dude, on the other hand, was "honored" to meet us and was very proud at Israel and said he had wanted to join the IDF, but he is not Jewish, so it probably wouldn't have worked. Quite funny..
